Many people have this fear, and it has been around since the beginning of the creation of man. Many people fear many things throughout life some are trivial and some are the realities that are handed down from our families. The fear of a mouse for instance of seeing that disgusting, filthy animal in the confines of your own home, might send shivers down your spine, or it might leave you screaming like some sort of mad lunatic. Even so the mouse is much smaller than you and its early demise is all that is on your mind. So you hire an exterminator, or buy a mouse trap, and even go to the extreme of being the proud owner of a cat. The mouse must die so once again you can live in harmony with sanity of mind. But where did that fear of that little animal called the mouse come from? Maybe your parents, and maybe one of the many cartoons that you watched when you were young, as the mouse crept up upon and elephant, and the elephant went wild upon seeing this little creature. The mind is a powerful tool that takes in every aspect, and as the youth process different phases seeing how family reacts to the unknown, the mind is trained to react in the same matter that was taught. The most powerful fear of one of the unknowns, is still number one today, and probably will be the rest of your life. That one fear still strikes the heart and soul of modern man and leaves him drained, and not wanting to think about it ever again, so he puts it to one side. That one fear of the unknown is called DEATH. And many people can deny this fear, but death is displayed throughout history and centuries of a long ago age. It was given to man by God, for man's disobediance to God. Later on death was swallowed up in the grave, by the son of God Jesus Christ. O death where is thy sting? O grave where is thy victory? There is no secret to death, or the victory of the grave, because upon the final seconds of your life, when you close your eyes in death, your soul is no longer subject to that death or grave and it is gone from that casing or shell that is called the human body. We all fear death because we love life, that fear of death comes up again and again as we see our family and friends age, and whither away like leaves dropping from an autumn covered tree. We fear death because we are still here, and also waiting. We put death away again after that funeral of a loved one, or friend, and we lay it aside not to be discussed, or mentioned for a little while at least. Your mortal life is real, and there is no reason to fear that unknown, because eventually when you close your eyes in death, then your immortality kicks in, and you shall never taste that unknown again, only that judgement from God, and where you will be spending that immortal life. Though I could place different scripture passages in this blog. I would rather not, but leave you with these final words from Jesus, Be good, Be kind, and Love one another as you would yourself. For if you loved your neighbor as yourself, then any afflictions or hurts from that neighbor, then also should hurt you. The real fear of Death is that you can not control it, as you can the little mouse that entered your domain.
